Twin Grille Roadster

#1 Post by Rusty Ferrell »

I bought what I thought was a pretty nice roadster.
Fully painted but not assembled. Wow was I wrong.
So her are a couple pictures on with paint, the way I bought it and now bare metal with 40 pounds of Bondo removed. Oh well, had it been lead instead it would have added about 300 pounds to the car’s weight.

Rusty, unless the car takes after your name (:P), your Roadster is one of 249 ever built. Please keep that in mind as you go through the restoration headaches. And if it's a Super 90, yikes!!! :D Good luck!!!

I feel your pain Rusty! I went through the same with my D.

Took only a few years but it came out better than it ever was. Hang in there! And keep in mind, the money isn't gone, it just belongs to someone else now :)

Water pumps are for windshield washers only.
