Thanks Doug, I like those videos, I will definitely have a look at that also.

The distributor was rebuilt recently by Paul at PRS during the engine build.

When I start the car and let it sit for 10 minutes burbling along, the idle is at about 800, when I have driven the car for about 30 minutes going up and down the gears, eventually making it into crawling speed in low gears, when I hit a town, lets say first-second gear, the revs are at about 1600 which does not sound great especially when the exhaust keeps popping. It just does not like being in the lower gears and crawling along, flies along in the upper gears without an issue, likes being drove fast.
