paint quantity for 356c

#1 Post by Robert Russo »

I am buying paint for my 356c and I am doing a full spraybody, jams, inside dash, underhood. About how much single stage paint should I buy.
Thank you

I used a gallon of paint plus a quart on my B coupe.
I used TCP restoration shop so you only mix 4:1 with hardener. No reducer. I shot three coats. I didn’t shoot the inside of the doors or the rear seat area or kicks, if you are going to do all of that then I would go with two gallons of paint depending on how many coats you want.

I posted a similar question on a couple different sites. Seems a gallon but depends on the mix ratio. I'm using glasurit which has a 2-1-10% which gives you a gallon and half. Waiting for my paint to arrive, hopefully will be spraying this weekend. Good luck with your spray.
