where is the list of serial numbers?
I've lost the bubble on serial numbers for engines and transmissions. Is it still available?

Doug, I had not seen that list before. Aside from the source reference from Dr. Brett, some of the data doesn't fit. Under 1964, the Karmann VIN range is shown for just SC cars - that doesn't make sense. Both of my Karmann cars are in that VIN range - correct for the '64 SC but not correct for the C which is a 1965 model per the COA. Somehow the list isn't totally accurate and doesn't agree with the 356a.com data.Doug McDonnell wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 9:57 pm Do you mean like this? https://www.stoddard.com/Werkstatte/bod ... gKnI_D_BwE

Re: where is the list of serial numbers?
The columns are funny. the engine column has C then SC numbers Next column is different but next to 1st column. Imagine a vertical line separating them and it makes more sense. All 64 Karmann bodies are the same so chassis range is given. Engine ranges are different C vs SC so different locations. Note also Euro heater cars engines with * I admit that as printed by Stoddard the list sort of needs Click and Clack's 1.... Roman numeral two..... C Notation. My COA also calls my 14 July 64 completed car a 65 in error. Stoddard's list also thanks Brett and refers to his book for a more detailed list.
