Re: 1959 Porsche 356 Project
Happy New Year All, here is a quick update photo. The wheels came back from the chrome shop and look fantastic. I bought some 165HR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67 tires from Lucas and mounted them up. The wheels look like jewelry against the black paint. Seeing the car back on its own wheels after all these years is fantastic.

Vic
You're in good hands with Dave DiMaria. I saw what he did to your family's 911S. It was magic. Easily one of the best Porsche restoration shops in the country.

Hi Jim,
I agree 100%, the work Dave and his team does is outstanding! It's been a long haul, but the results are fantastic!
Thank you,

After sitting dormant since 1972, my 1959 Porsche 356 is back on the road. The guys at Vintage Auto here in Colorado did an amazing job of addressing the details on this very special family car.

Glad to see it in it's finished condition. I had a chance to see it last month. I think they were just waiting for some bumper over-riders to come back from chrome. Beautiful car!

Hi Jim,
Yes, the rear over-riders, thank you! They put the finishing touches on Friday before the long weekend so I was able to put some miles on it.
