I will measure it tonight and take a picture, Rusty! I do believe the T6 roadster is unique in that area, the T5 roadster did not have a fuel door, and the fresh air vents in the kick panels were not around anymore by T6. The cowl is unique to the roadster as well (no air intake)

Getting into the wiper assembly. Trying to match the color for the wiper bracket which the motor mounts to.
Appears to be a gray with a green tent. Looking at Wilhoit sight the bracket was a light to medium gray.
Any local paints that seem to be a good match?

Can't you just use one of the other longer cables to front lid or engine lid and shorten to correct length? They are pretty cheap.

More input needed; Getting ready to install the front trunk harness and want to put down the insulation pad first. Anyone know what material should be there for a Roadster? Thinking about ordering the piece that Stoddard sells, but would like to look at options to that. Don't have a reference.
wishing all good health,
Rusty

Rusty

I don't think it has been mentioned but if you replace the tank with a top sender, you will need to do something with your fuel gauge in the dash. Bottom sender fuel gauges are unique to bottom sender tanks (the markings are a dead giveaway) and they read just the opposite as any other fuel gauge.

Jim thanks for the heads up. I may have the correct tank coming.
For the T6 Roadster owners with original cars I sure like to know where sound insulation or any padding is used, trunk, interior and engine compartment. Appreciate all the input the members may provide.
Cheers

Rusty,
Here is 89814, it was pretty original. I can put you in touch with the new owner in Austria if that helps.

Rusty, i will take some pics of 89714 (bottom sender and all) for you and send them via email. I cannot guarantee it is 100% original or 100% correct, but it will give you something to start with.
