Bend is ready to welcome you to the West Coast Holiday 2021!

The West Coast Holiday is ON! Although we will not have a single host hotel, or the traditional Concours and Awards Party, we are planning outdoor events, with coordinated drives through breath-taking scenery driving, focusing on the cars we love and spending time with our friends and fellow 356 enthusiasts. We are closely monitoring Covid regulations that may require us to modify the planned events, so please visit the event site westcoastholiday.org In the meantime, here is some high-level information for the Holiday.

When - Same dates as before - September 8-12, 2021

Where - Bend, Oregon. Attendees are encouraged to coordinate lodging with friends at one of the several hotels, Airbnb, VRBO or resorts in Bend and the surrounding area. The organizers have negotiated very favorable rates at several hotels and a list will be posted on westcoastholiday.org very soon.

What - Planned agenda:
Thursday, Sept 9th - Group led drives to Crater Lake and Cascade Lakes Scenic Highway
Friday, Sept 10th - Several group led drives ending at Crook County Fairgrounds for a 356 Reunion Gathering including a non-judged car display and catered meal
Saturday, Sept 11th - On-Your-Own Drives, Visit the town Sisters and a tentative 356 Oktoberfest at Porsche Bend
Sunday, Sept 12th - Swap meet, TBD

Registration will open in a few weeks after we have completed refunding all fees for the previously planned event. We are actively working with all of our wonderful sponsors to provide this event at little or no cost to the registered participants.

First, A Thanks to all the folks who have worked to keep this event alive and for info on Lodging. Is there any new/current information regarding parking of trailers for those hauling cars ? Particular hotel better than others ?
