International 356 meeting in France 2021

#1 Post by Dan Seelig »

I would really love to go but of course it was full in minutes. On the waiting list but not really getting my hopes up. However since the meeting is 2.5 hour drive from my French place, I can't see not going in my 59A coupe. What is the protocol for this sort of thing? Am I welcome to drop in and have a look around or if you are not participating you are not really welcome. Don't want to make a "Faux Pas" as we say here.

Dan it would only be a "faux pas" if you turned up in a Citroen, Peugeot or Renault. As long as you do not park or drive on private grounds they can kiss your derriere.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

I saw today that my club in the Netherlands is hosting in 2022. Even closer!
