Hi All
Didn't know how to share this short film to You All But stumbled across it on YouTube
Titled.. Porsche 356B Carrera GT Rennsport Reunion V1 2018
At Laguna Seca I believe. Nice, I believe that Jacques prepared this car.
Enjoy

Nice video. I hope the close call with a 904 wasn’t as close as it looked.

I`m fine thanks John - just getting old and stiffHi Mike, You OK ? Your I`st 356 is coming back over to PRS this Friday for some engine work (New P & Cs)
Good to hear that `my` car is coming back to PRS - that is the one I bought on the phone sight un-seen for £2,500 (that is probably 45 years ago)
It came from Mike Steels in Sheffield (he and his wife were very nice people)

There was actually 4 Devin Porsche's at that event. Leonard Turnbeaugh, Arthur Connor, Don Tevini and myself. There is a brief shot of Don's Devin (2 stripes on nose), but the other Devin clips are my car (#356).Mike Smith wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 12:12 pmCorrection to the manufacturer of Leonard`s carMike Smith wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 5:52 am There is also a brief shot of the Devin - I guess Leonard Turnbeaugh

Re: Porsche 356B Carrera at Rennsport Reunion
Mike,
DEVIN Porsches began coming out of the woodwork here about 5 years ago. They are all driven by 356 drivers who see it as cheaper and different, but not that different, from their 356s. Before that there were no DEVIN Porsches running that I heard of. It takes quite a bit of effort to get a DEVIN Porsche to the track and their development as vintage racers still has a short way to go. I know of another DEVIN Porsche which has been beautifully restored-new chassis-for the street. I suppose it won't be long before someone puts a 2.5 Liter Type 4 VW engine in one of the vintage racers.
Thanks, Vic, for the correction.

Gregory chassis may actually be a real speedster not a VW pan/tube frame.

Re: Porsche 356B Carrera at Rennsport Reunion
If so it wouldn't be a vintage DEVIN Porsche (Or DEVIN VW ) THE DEVINS had their own steel ladder frame. The DEVIN body on a VW or pan would just be another "special".
