Now I understand that Carrera tach face with the green band down to 2,000 RPM. It is for LA folks who think city streets are what Porsches are for! I have heard of Mulholland Drive in the hills north of LA, but maybe that's a parking lot too now.

Hi Harlan
Those cars are 2 ltrs and were meant for the customers that they built the early 911s for. Almost the same performance and since the were 4 cylinders the perceived torque was higher. The engine could be easily tuned like a 904 for 911s carbureted performance.
