Motor out for plug change, valve adjustment and repair of problem with intake cam flywheels. Motor has about 1500 miles since a rebuild. Removing a 4 cam motor is easier that a pushrod - no need to remove the rear tray or exhaust. I had it out by myself in under an hour, including draining the oil. The carbs were off for another issue.
So far found that both plug wires on #1 were not making good contact in the cap. All 4 intake valves had too much clearance. # 1&2 exhaust were spot on while # 3&4 exhaust had too little clearance. Nothing on the sump screen or in the oil filter. Waiting on Fastenal to deliver some 4x6mm key stock to fix the cam flywheel issue.
Motor out
Motor on the stand
Factory Sport 1 exhaust
3&4 cylinder cams
Valve drive gears in cam box

Bill, yes, unless you are dealing with a 547/1 with the street exhaust system. Those are an absolute bitch to put in it take out without scratching anything
