Yes Jacques, that is correct. All oil-passages drilled, the two drill holes that you see the last picture are topped off by an alloy insert, works great.

Hi, From a structural point of view on an engine that "grows and shrinks" quite a bit, runs with excessive heat at 8,000 rpm, is there any real world data on these heads used in racing applications?

Hi Tom,
Kuzu/Garretson 3 piece Carrera cylinder head race testing not done yet.
We are confident It will perform well.
In few months will be taking a set of 3 piece cylinder heads to Jacques to run in his dyno.

Ibrahim,
That is great progress! And a big step forward for the Carrera community.
What engine is Jacques going to dyno your heads on? Is he going to disassemble a Carrera or use one of his plain bearing 547 conversions?
I assume that you are going to be there for the dyno testing. Please post pictures and a video if possible.

Great work Ibrahim. I tried to do heads one time but gave up after tons of $$ spend and only alu scrap to show for it. Very impressive

Thank you Harlan,Greg,Joris,

Many years on this project and yes Joris, as you mentioned, thousands of $$$ invested plus our countless time on design and machining...

Happy so far. And let's see how she will perform.

Harlan,

We are going to use my Carrera case, which is in Jacques for some time. It is 547/5 the strongest case ,has 6 thru bolts and has an 82 mm roller bearing crank shaft which is from Heinz W. Bade's estate purchased.

Jacques wanted to use his plain bearing conversion in this engine.

I like to be in his shop thru rebuilding , like my friend Bill Sargent did, so Learn a few tricks and record the build and dyno run. Will be exciting .

Hopefully, soon will be heading to San Diego .Waiting for the green light from Jacques. He has been quite busy.
