Hella Fanfare Horn Photo?
Anybody have a color photo (or can take one) of a Hella fanfare horn? They were optional from roughly 3/51 - 4/54. I have photos of the Bosch version (10/53 - on) in my current book on page 111.

These were most common (exclusively?) on cars purchased by the Swiss importer AMAG. I would expect that perhaps a Swiss car could be found that still has these?

Further research -- About half went to AMAG and half went to German dealers. A handful went elsewhere including one to Hoffman.

Re: Hella Fanfare Horn Photo?
My 55 cab has fanfare horns, although they are not mentioned on the Kardex.
They are mounted via the same mounts as standard horns, they are mounted horizontal
with the trumpets facing inward. The chrome dome can be seen through the horn grille
adding a little extra bling to the front end.
