Quick Jack lift points

#1 Post by Kent Malone »

I have a Quickjack BL-5000SLX and I was thinking of using it for my '55 coupe to service the brakes. Any suggestions for lift points?

I would say that if you slip it in under the chassis between front and rear of the longitudinals centered on the longitudinal inner seam it would work very well. You could also use a piece of 1/2" plywood cut to width and length across the whole thing to spread the load over the whole chassis.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.
