Pre A speedometer, who rebuilds those?

Hello everybody. Does anybody know where this speedometer (picture) could come from, who or which company in the US could have rebuilt it? I am looking for another one in MPH.
The guy who sold it only told me that he got it form the US. I don't know if it has been refurbished or if it is a completely new reconstruction. It looks brand new to me.

probably Palo Alto Speedometer or North Hollywood. those are the 'big 2'.

I have a couple of early VDO pre A speedos in MPH if you want to trade.

Not 100 percent sure of this, but I believe pre-A VDO speedometers with a tenths digit on the odometer portion are later aftermarket speedos which were sold in the late 50's and early 60's. I believe originals did not have the tenths wheel.

very good catch Alan - all the pre A VDO speedos i have do not have the tenths on the trip odo.
