Tool Kit bags

#1 Post by Vincent Gillespie »

Hello I'm going to try some needlework and, before I start on the full 3 piece suit, I thought it best to start small & try to make a tool kit bag. I have the pattern from the tool kit website http://www.356tools.com/toolbags/toolba ... A%2053.JPG I just need an idea of the various dimensions does anyone have these details to hand?

Thanks for your response, I'm going to try with a pre A as shown in the attached file and if that's OK then a T5 B.

Hi Vincent,

I think that you will find that a sewing machine to do a tool kit bag might be too much for building a 3-piece suit. And, a machine to do a suit will probably not be sufficient for heavy canvas/leather work.

I owned a small parachute design/manufacturing business for 39 yrs. I had a lot of different sewing machines.

You could contact these people for some assistance with types of sewing machines: http://www.thomas-sports.com/

Fantastic idea a 3 piece suit incorporating a parachute, did you once work with a certain Mr. Bond?

I now know where to go to get a 3 piece suit made with a parachute secreted in it but can anyone help with the dimensions on the patterns shown in http://www.356tools.com/toolbags/toolba ... A%2053.JPG for the Pre A and http://www.356tools.com/toolbags/toolbag%20A.JPG for the T5B.

Thanks in advance.
