Lovely. Anyone know the chassis number on this one? Looks to be a ‘53 model year built in early 1954.

Very interesting car. I haven't seen a MY 53 with a gas gauge (instead of oil temp gauge). Also the carpet on the floor of the trunk?
I hope the new owner will share details

In this lovely car the oil temp gauge has been replaced by a 55 electric VDO fuel gauge. A few MY 53 had the optional Beck Fuel gauge if indicated in the Kardex. The optional fuel gauge did not replace the oil one but was mounted on the lower part of the dash, next to the air pump to make it work.
