I stripped a 53 cab many years ago that had brakes like the drawing, from my memory it had dual cylinders in small VW drums with aluminum fins added. As it was at least 40 years ago maybe I am wrong about the drum size.
IIRC the "VW drums" with the "Porsche only" pressed on aluminum fins ended sometime around August/September 52. It's relatively easy to press out the wheel studs from the A drums.
The 1950 drawing shows the steel VW drums. The 1952 drawing is actually of the late '52 aluminum drums that are much larger.
The photos show the VW drums with the aluminum cooling rings on them. These were used 1951 to ~Aug 1952, as Jules indicates.
Usage of the cooling rings on the VW drums is not entirely sorted out. Not all cars got them. It seems all the 1500 cars got them after a certain period, but again, the data is sparse.
At the front, even though Porsche used VW drums, they had their own brake cylinders, backing plates and of course 2 wheel cylinders. At the back, it was standard VW except for the 19mm brake cylinder. (Not sure if this was always the case going back to 1950.) This is indicated (suggested?) on page 66 of the first Porsche parts cartalog (March 1953). Page 72 shows the aluminum ones. Both used the same front and rear brake cylinders.
As I stated in post #2. The artist simply changed the drawing the easy way. To be accurate regarding size, the link pins and tierod would be more covered.
Compare the bolt circle.

Hello Jules ,
Thanks for your reply !
I am from France, have you some kinship with Hans DIELEN who was living near Chalon sur saône ( like me ) ? ( who is dead few years ago ) .

So I committed a bigger crime, stripped a 52 not a 53. It was super rusty, I don’t really think a sane person would fix it even at today’s value.
Hello Martin !
The jury has acquitted you ! Sleep in peace ! lol !
Thanks for your replies !
