For those following my column in the magazine this document was presented in the current issue (Vol. 46, No. 2) on page 65. It was provided by Chris Stavros and originally supplied by Marco Marinello. I have asked both Marco and the Porsche Archives if there are any others like this prior to the ones produced for the 356A in 1956, but so far no response. I would like some help translating this so I can put that in the next column. Feel free to correct what I have listed below. Here's what the internet and I came up with:
Options: 4/19/1951
Leather upholstery replacing cloth for seats and doors
?
?
?
?
Removeable seat cushion in leather
1 Reclining seat
1 Jump seat
Nylon covers over both seats
Nylon velour (“Isolett”) covers over both seats
1 Removable headrest in vinyl
1 Removable headrest in leather
Velour carpet instead of Bouclé in interior for coupe
Card pocket in seat
1 Second sun visor installed
2 Luggage straps
Extra charge for chrome wheels, 5 pieces @ DM 60
Extra charge for steering wheel with signal ring
1 set – three pieces of fitted luggage
Special floor covering (carpet maybe?)
Custom paint

Re: Option list April 1951
FWIW, the upgrade to leather seat and door upholstery was $100, and the three-piece luggage was $64 and change.

Not a factory options list but a dealers!
A corvette was $2900.00
An entry level Cadillac was $4300.00

Re: Option list April 1951
Very nice and it doesn't need translation! Can you scan it higher res. as a black & white document or line art? It is too small (and dark) to put in the magazine/website. You can email me at: 356drb@gmail.com
In the upcoming issue there will be additional factory listings from 1953 and 1954. I'll see if the four people who helped translate the 1951 version (translation in upcoming magazine also) will oblige again on these two (longer) lists. I'm also looking to publish images and translations of any other lists from this era.

I will send it to your email address.
I have brightened it, let me know if it needs something else?
