Photos Showing the Process of Installing My Speaker Fabric

I was asked if I could supply photos to illustrate the steps I recommend to install my Blaupunkt speaker cloth, steps that I describe in the DIY instructions I provide with every purchase. So here they are for the oval speakers. (The process is the same for all other Blaupunkt speakers -- e.g., the sorta-round and racetrack.)
The first photo shows everything you need to complete the project, grille, fabric, scissors and recommended adhesive.
The second photo shows the grille on top of the back face of the fabric after the adhesive has been applied to the grille.
The third photo shows the easy trimming process.
The fourth photo shows the grille after the excess fabric has been removed.
The final photo shows the finished product installed in my Convertible D.
FYI, the plain oval speaker grille shown in the first three photos is the one that comes with the reproduction oval speaker assembly sold by NLA/Stoddard (https://www.stoddard.com/nla64550100-64464550100.html). FWIW, I have found that the installation of the reproduction oval speaker assembly that is sold by Stoddard is virtually impossible without some serious modifications to the fiberboard backing that the speakers are attached to, and this is true whether or not you add my speaker cloth to the mix. Adding my speaker cloth to make the speakers look original just makes matters worse. If you are thinking of purchasing this speaker assembly, whether or not you also purchase my speaker fabric, I am happy to help you with the needed modifications.
