NEW WR Cylinder Heads

#1 Post by John Willhoit »

We finally have the first batch of cylinder heads in stock. I'm doing these in two versions: Standard and Big Valve. The Standard version is in stock right now. They are an improved duplicate of the original late 356/912 head and are intended for 1600cc and 1720cc engines.

You can read about them by following the link to my webstore: http://willhoit-auto-restoration.mybigc ... r-356-912/

This has been years in the planning/development and they are made in the USA. The price complete with valves, springs, etc and ready to install is $3800/pair

Keep an eye on my store, website or Instagram for the debut of the WR Big Valve Heads in 3-4 week. They are from the same casting but with larger valves, CNC porting and matching CNC ported manifolds. The Big Valve heads complete with matching intake Weber 44IDF manifolds will be priced at $4800/pair. They're designed for our 1.9 and 2.2 liter engines and the flow characteristics are perfectly matched to those engines.

I heard AA is also developing replacement heads. Nice to have some choice now over using used heads.

Just like some important medical issues I have had to deal with, there are lots of great things now that were not available twenty years ago. I like it!

Looks great, John, and they will be a great option if we find out my heads are crapped out.
