Rod Emory Seats
Does anyone know who makes the cool seats that Rod Emory puts in his Outlaw 356s?

No mention on their website. Maybe they would be willing to divulge their supplier.

Re: Rod Emory Seats
Though they don't make Rod's seats, it might be worth checking out GTS CLASSICS, owned/operated by Stefan Schleissing...they make some incredible kit and can customize it as well!

Hi Jim
What a superb range of seats. Money apart, I would find it hard to choose which Style of Seat for the 356.
Cheers Jay

Just finishing up my interior - here's how I did my seats. I primed and painted them to match the car, and then left some metal showing through on the upholstery. I like Rod's but obviously not commercially available to mere mortals!

Hi Adam
They are nice looking seats, and Comfy? How was the frame formed? I do like the metal coordination with the leather.
Did you do the work? And some nice artwork on your walls!
Cheers Jay

Re: Rod Emory Seats
morning Jay...do so agree on both the range of seats as well the superbness of them as GTS Classic makes good kit...currently on the hunt for an era correct variant with head bolsters to use as rally seat that has enough side bolster to keep one planted when dancing to and fro...in kind, me and my gal were recently in the Appalachians and giving "Amarillo" a good bit of floggery amidst curvilinear mountain roads...on one such R3 overcrest blind corner, nearly had my lass sliding into my seat (and yes, need a set of 4pt harnesses to go with said seats (probably going with a set of Schroth 4pt harnesses))...cheers!John Clarke wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 7:14 am Hi Jim

I went with a hybrid approach. Aluminum shells are re-worked bomber seats from Speedway Motors. I kind of like the bomber rivet look. Speedster inserts are cut down poly seats. Very comfy and supportive. Local shop did the upholstery, I did the rest.

Two questions, Mark: How do you push the clutch pedal to the stop? How does a 67-year-old get up and out of them?Mark Schumacher wrote: ↑Mon Jul 18, 2022 11:16 pm I went with a hybrid approach. Helps that I am 6’ 4”. Seat position designed for the driver. The upholstery guy did get a little carried away on thigh support
