Good day
I am new to the Forum
I'm writing from Cape Town South Africa
We are building a Outlaw from a 1960 Porsche 356 coupe
We are keeping the existing gearbox and engine so that we can "go back" to the original car
We have imported a 200hp Fat Performance engine from the USA
We want to use a Rancho Freeway Flyer gearbox
Apparently it will fit but needs some aftermarket transmission mounts in order to install it into the 356 without any radical changes to the car
I would very much appreciate advice relating to this matter
Thanks
Raymond Hofmann

Why not install a tall 4th in the original gearbox? A 741 is pretty sturdy

Certainly a custom front mount, and the big problem is the high location of the shift finger; above the torsion bar tube instead of below.
