Cabriolet Hardtop Parts.

#1 Post by Peter Davis »

I’m restoring my T6 cabriolet hardtop. Sierra Madre has part #644-504-891-00 listed and shown as a “black vinyl bead for use on the cabriolet hardtop.” A length is not given and we can’t figure out where it goes. Does anyone know? Also, I’m missing the metal trim piece that fits in the top to body rear seal - probably 3 pieces, left, right, and center connector cap. Can anyone help?

Peter - check out this thread.

I worked on my hardtop last winter but got stalled and will maybe resume soon but am suffering from project overload.
The metal trim piece is very rare and hard to find. I bought one off of ebay many years ago but is in pretty sad shape.
I tried to find who manufactures the window seal trim which appears to be the same piece or at least very similar, but I got to a dead end there too.
I bought all my rubber trim from International Merchantile - I'm satisfied with their stuff.
