I found this screw in amongst my parts and pieces bagged for my door frames and vent windows. It was in a bag along with the thick washers and tension spring for my vent window which I re-plated.
Any idea what it's for, if anything? My plater may have thrown it into my stash just to mess with me.

I've never run across that especially not for a vent window. The thread looks very coarse.

Looks like an anchor for a leg on a coil spring, but I don't ever recall seeing anything like it on a C or 912, which is what I'm familiar with

Yep, I've got some oddball parts back from the cad-plater. It doesn't make up for the parts they've lost though.
