Generatior date code - for '57 Engine

Generatior date code - for '57 Engine

Putting together the parts needed to build a period correct engine for my '57 coupe.
I brought a fan shroud with the generator attached...I would have been surprised if had been period correct ! However the date code 131 is weird.
I would have expected something like (1 thru 12 M or N of r '56 or '57 if had gotten lucky :D ) but 131 is not in Bosch table...

The Bosch 029 is 200 Watt. Late 59 to 65. I think you need a 160 Watt

Yeah, that's a 1971 generator.

1 31
1 = 1971
31 = Nov
