Hello,
Installing a new top for my freshly restored 1960 Drauz roadster, i have seen on some roadster tops that there is a screw on the outside just above the rain gutter. Is this correct?
Mostly you don't see this screw on freshly installed tops.... but wanted to look as original.
Thanks
Roy

Re: Roadster Top screw
roadster top screw, I also have a Drauz roadster that screw is supposed to be there. It is supposed to help the top from peeling away from the wooden front top bow when open.

Re: Roadster Top screw
Hi Roy - I checked my Roadster top. Yes, the screw is there on both sides (see pics). I am positive this top is a new top, i.e., not original to the car. I do have a photograph of the car taken in 1960, sent to me by the original owner. The screw is visible in the photo, and I have every reason to believe that was the original top to the car.

Re: Roadster Top screw
Thaks Scott, the screw will be added.
Can you take a picture of the inside , what goes under the first bow to set the tension? See picture below
