Do flat hubcaps 1964 on have any date stamps

I have listed for sale four old hubcaps. A potential buyer asked if they had stamps (date or factory.) Mine do not. I know the moons had stamps but I think the ones I am selling are old originals without date stamps. Is the potential buyer correct that they should have markings if the are Porsche originals?

Just happen to have two of mine off tonight. Yes they do. Mine are dated 363, Car was delivered in 11/63 and is a 1964 C. Below are the pictures of my flat hubcaps. Look in the rim. They also have a number like 230 on them and a “Lemertz” stamp on it. You should be able to zoom in and see all three on the edge of these. Hope this helps.

All uncrested disc brake hubcaps are dated 363 like yours James. BUt I think that Mark was asking about the flat crested hubcap with the tarnished chrome center. According to Jim Breazeale they were dated until in or near 67: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18822&p=83039&hilit ... tes#p83039

Thanks for the information. My caps do not have stampings but are stainless, so original but 1967 or later. I will edit my classified.
