On 356A T1 original shine down lights the center backup Hella lens has the K1431 markings .
On 356A T2 shine up "Repro" the chrome body says Hella K1431 but the center backup lens says K128231
I compared an original K1431 to the K128231 and they appear to be the same other that the number.
So my question is should the T2 " Repro " shine up " as original " have had a K1431 lens and not the K128231 ?

Jim, I have the following comments about the back up lenses:
1. I have 3 original T-2 shine up lights and the back up lens has K12823 followed with the wiggly/worm then the A encircled. HELLA on top of the wiggly/snake.
2. I have 1 original glass with K1431 followed by HELLA followed by the wiggly/snake.
I might be wrong but I've only seen the # K128231 in the T-2 reproductions.
