Numbers from Olaf Lang - RE: Notchbacks

#1 Post by Tom Tate »

I have searched the archives but can't find the thread where the number of Notchbacks were discussed. The discussion quoted Olaf Lang (RIP) as saying that there were only 59 Notchbacks delivered with S90 engines. Does anyone recall the thread or did I just imagine it ?

There is a 22 page thread but no mention of how many S90 but I bet you saw that one.

unless you go through the build details for every single notch ever built it's not possible to know. I also do not recall a post by Olaf Lang on this topic.

the late Roy Lock went through this effort for the twin grill roadsters and found 76 of the 249 built were S90, so just about 1/3. I could imagine it's roughly the same for notchbacks but they built so many more of them.

There was a thread a few weeks ago regarding 6220, and Doug was kind enough to provide a more comprehensive link: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=43714&p=286322&hili ... 20#p286322
