Car VIN # 130675 or Engine # 97416

If anyone know of the owner of this chassis and engine , please forward my address .

I have a 1965 letter from Porsche of America to a previous owner, verifying 1964 Carrera 2 chassis # 130 675 and engine # 97 416. I remember seeing that it was a beautiful grey (as I best remember) car, and certainly must have survived. I would like to give that letter to the present owner as part of the car's history, but have not been able to locate him (or her, I suppose, although unlikely).

PCA has no record of the car, there is nothing on the Internet, nor have any of the Carrera engine rebuilders any information. They all say "Send along the letter - we'll keep it here" but I really want it to go to the present owner, not into a file in their shop somewhere.

Is there anyone maintaining a census of these cars, or a particular expert who knows "all"?

I am looking for the current owner of 1964 Carrera 2 car # 130 675 .

I went thru the 4 issues of the 4 Cam Register put out by Steve Dean and the 5th version by Greg Dunn and found no mention of either the chassis or engine.

That's one of the last Carrera 2's produced, only 31 engines from the end of an era.
