The discussion in the Bring a Trailer auction of a pre-A toolkit has me wondering. The tool bag and some of the tools in my 59 seem to be original. But the stubby screwdriver seems to be wrong. Is it a real one from an earlier car, or a repro?

Stubbies are a tough call but yours Looks like an original to me, the decal is my indicator.
Its not correct for your 59 but it is a little more elusive then a 59 driver. Nice!

I would be interested in swapping for a genuine correct tool or tools for my car. Can anyone suggest a fair swap? I don't want to sell, this little screwdriver is very handy for setting the carburetors. But I guess that the later stubby would work just as well.

Doesn't it look like the scallops at the tip are more gradual (larger radius) than the other originals I have seen?
