that would make it a very very rare Devlin.. the only one in existence

I was tempted, but I'm building a 1948 Crosley / Devin. Does anyone need more than one. ..........Jim.

I saw that listing. David, you should get somebody local to you to buy it so that you can help them turn it into a race rocket. I know that you know how to build a past race car. I would like to have another Devin racing in the East.

Could be the even rarer version Four Wheel Drive, like Lou Fageoli's twin engine Porsche special.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

I like that idea Cliff. Problem is I'm in Kentucky and going in straight lines or circles/ovals seems to be the preferred orientation and with a big ol V8.

The last picture with the maroon gas tank at first looked like a sideways BMC B series engine to me. That would make a terrible awd car.

There are several Devin/Porsches running on the West Coast. Plus, a number of restored street Devin/Porsches. I think they can be lighter than a Speedster, and consequently faster, but I don't think they are quite there yet.

A solid clean up inside and out, get it back up to speed mechanicaly and drive the hell out of it again imho.

I have photographers always take the pictures with the Devin in the lead. Don't ask if there are any cars ahead of me.
