This guy from Germany has a question about 356 wheel spacers. I thought someone here might be able to help him.

Hello
I am from Germany and I have an 1963 beetle
For this beetle I bought old wheelspacers, which were used originally for the first PORSCHE 356 Carrera.
My question is:
Does anybody has any informations or documents about those spacers?
It would be nice, if I can have those informations.
Best regards

Re: Guy on The Samba with a question
The factory aluminum spacers first used on the early 356A Carrera cars with 60mm brakes. They were 20mm thick and threaded.....with a beveled inside edge to clear the splines on the stud. They were used on the rears only to match the track width of the extra 20mm of the front brake drums. Later, they eliminated the threads for obvious reasons.
