Wheels / Rims

#1 Post by C Richey »

Hello All and Happy Birthday America
Did Porsche or any aftermarket supplier produce a 130x6x15 or 205x6x15 steel rim? I have observed 4.5, 5 and 5.5 steel rims in both bolt patterns, Fuchs made a six inch rim and were cookie cutters and gas burners six inch x15?
Question is are there 6x15 steel rims 130 and 205 bolt pattern in the marketplace?  While on the subject of rims, Al Zims least favorite rim, the space saver, is there an alternative 16 inch rim that can be run on a street stock 356 t2, t5 or t6.
Thank you all and sorry Mr Zim

I don’t know of any large pattern 6” steel rims, although I have a set I made.

There are 6x15 steelies around with the 130x5 bolt pattern. It was the standard wheel for the 1970/71 911T. Not very common.

None in 205x5 as far as I know.

I have a like new set of 6 x 15 steel wheels that came off a 911. I may have a set of 928 style wheels that came on the 944. I would have to look for them about a 15 minute sojourn. I have 6 by 15 offset wide bolt pattern wheels OFFSET TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR. For these you have to be careful in your tire size and locating the wheel on the hub..spacer thickness . zim
