Need a Recommendation to Repair 356A Ignition Switch

#1 Post by Bob DiCorpo »

I need a recommendation of someone with a reasonable turnaround time to repair an original 356A early screw type ignition switch. Thank you.

Thanks Jim and Neil. I've used Tony before and although he does good work, his turnaround time was ridiculous.
As for a replacement, I have one O use as a spare. The bezel and the key slot are different on the repros. That's why I'd like mine repaired. Ty,

Yes, I had Tony do some work for me - the end product was good.. the timing and the communication was very stressfull for me as I realized I had shipped him my original door handles, and no plan B if I did not get them back
How about Vintage Werks http://www.vintagewerks.com/index.html

or Doug F ?

You might try Tweets Restorations. They have posted in the past.

Hi Brooks,
This looks good. Would you happen to have an email address or phone number. The two E-Bay url's are no longer current. Ty, Bob

It seems Tweets Restoration has had some problems. See what was posted in the Pelican forum some years ago.

Thank you Hugo. Sure wouldn't want to send an original ignition switch out to him. Bob

Another one off the radar. Dan was very good but his area got hit by a hurricane several years ago and that was the last I heard of him.
