It looks like it had something mounted on the top of the air cleaner maybe a forced air device??

Owners do the darndest things. When I bought my former '63 B coupe, it had been retro fitted from the original annular ring disc brakes, to drums. The lunatic who did the work replaced the backing plates but instead of fitting the left side to the left axle and the right to the right, he chiseled out the areas below the centers to accommodate the king pin carriers, which belly out a bit. All he had to do was swap sides and the factory indentations on the plates would have been fine. This same genius installed A drums at the rear, which allowed copious amounts of oil to seep onto the linings. Oh well, brakes are over-rated anyway. Who needs them?

Latest stash had some weird stuff, we should all remember to smile, right?

This latest one is pretty funny considering how many bent and kinked hoods we've all seen.

That’s pretty good. And from a period-correct Dymo Labelmaker too.

This one is unique. The parts receipt for a 20 count of horn grills, alas, I didn't get all 20.

A, I have seen some more of those. Peter H. Had a similar box a couple of years back selling the grills at a fair price at the lit show.

Great find, Adam. Better than the repros with those big rivets!

Ok, someone with a good eye can tell me what's wrong with these gearboxes. I know what was done to them, just curious if anyone can pick it out and guess.

Some kind of VW conversion I’m guessing a dune buggy.
