I want to run stacks and actual filters and the price was right. It was a good compromise for me. I'll make sure to keep the lid shut when you guys are around. šŸ˜€

When you use the Precision Matters (Mainely by Design) adapter plates to mount original Knecht filters, there remains another issue. You need a hole in the bottom of the Knecht filter for each Weber jet stack to protrude upwards into. Rather than using a drill bit and scattering metal shavings/shards throughout the Knecht filters' mesh, I used a metal "nibbler" to create the holes. The edges of the holes are a bit ragged, but they work, and you can't see them when the filters are mounted on the carbs.

thank you for this infoā€¦

Concerning the kit from Partsklassikā€¦ it was an outstanding service from them ā€¦big shout out for Renee and the team at Partsklassik - the shipment from upstate NY to Bavaria with FedEx had been faster than a shipment from Bavaria to North Rhine Westphalia.

I have velocity stacks on my IDFs which gives room for carb vents. Added braised nuts to stacks which enabled the attachment of knecht filers. Very original look with Webers
