Martin, Andy and I have been discussing this for a long time and I have read a lot of the threads in the talk forum on this subject. Are you sure they will clear everything under the fenders? Have you actually done this? Thanks.

Martin, talked to Andy. he is concerned about 195s, but we are ging to go to Michelins, 185/65R15 all the way around, wheels 5.5” front/6” rear.

I have 195/65 on all four corners on 5.5” rims. That fits fine but you would have to try it to be sure on your 6” rears.

Due to the swing axles the rear tires move in an arc so usually if they clear at any spot they will clear throughout their travel. Mine is somewhat lowered too.

i appreciate your comments in this conversation. i figure i am going to go through several sets of tires and can; ;change those as i learn as long as i have the wheels right. i will also have a backup set of wheels - painted metal stock with hubcaps, and original style tires = coker - michelin.

Looking good Harry. Do you know what silver was used on the fan shroud and oil filter canister?

Is the shroud early B silver or the later non-metallic gray color?
