Thanks very much Bill, I appreciate it.

There are some 356reg magazines in the car from around that time, as well as a bunch of vendor catalogs from back in the day.

For a Vermont car, it's not bad. They are usually serviceable until the seat falls through the floor.
Shine it up, service it mechanically and enjoy it.
Give it a paint job which some consider a restoration.
I've seen many shiny bottomless cars currently in operation.

Hi Norm

It could certainly be worse, and yes by VT standards this thing is quite good! I think I will treat everything with Ospho, then fluid film, then store in poll shed on some boards for now. The poll shed has heavy plastic under gravel and stays quite dry.

You are in CO right? I lived there for 9 yrs and plenty I miss about it! But I heard they use salt now? They did not like 20 yrs ago...

Mark,
CO now uses magnesium chloride liquid.
Makes a hell of a mess but doesn't seem to bother steel however it etches aluminum.
On a wet snow day your car will turn white. It's the humidity that makes the saline active so not bad here.
