Re: Off to the paint shop!
Finally home, did some sorting at the shop after the ECH and drove her home tonight. With the way the weather is going it might be the last time out this year, but hopefully I get a little more road time before the winter curtain drops. For now she is happy resting with the other ADAM plates.

Ok, I'm going to call this done. All 5 Rudges are done, Bruce Baker and Jimmy Quatermus got the top on, as well as sorted out a million little things that years of experience can do far better than me. Luckily, still a few months of driving left in the summer.

Re: Off to the paint shop!
The first time I saw that Roadster I imagined what it could be. I recall the cracked paint and other signs of years and wear and thought about what it might become with careful nursing and proper treatments. Now it's there. If only we could do that sort of thing with our aging bodies (and minds). That car is now truly a badge to be worn by a representative of the Porsche family with pride. What a beautiful job.

Brandon Cove in Charlton, MA did my car. Not sure what you're looking to spend but he was reasonable and I'm very happy with the result. Let me know if you want his info.Thomas Tuccillo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 2:17 am paint adam, being a fellow n.y.er want to bounce something off u. owned my 59 a cab 30yrs, needs paint now! so far all estimates in the tri state could qualify as a d.p. for a home.
