Dan, good looking car! How much is it lowered, and how much camber do you have in the rear?

Edwin, thanks for the kind words.
Unfortunately I don't know the answer to your questions because I have not changed the suspension settings since I bought the Speedster.
I think it looks good in this photo thanks to my daughter's experience in photography!

Going through some old photos while sheltered. Newer one is 2013 Hanford CA Homecoming Parade. My 100 year old grandmother and I with the Sons of Italy Lodge Queen. Older ones are 1985 Reedley(CA) High School Homecoming. I got to drive the Queen & King around the track. I remember my dad waiting at the exit of the track to grab the keys before I could get out on to the street. That event still holds the record for number of “Is that a Karmann Ghia?” questions J

I have a car for sale that I just finished a restoration on and I had it detailed today. Wow, what a difference that made! These are just phone pictures but the car really looks great.

Great pics Jay! Hanford & Reedley are just up the road from us here in Shafter. The parade photos reminded me of this old photo I got from the PO of my '53 cabriolet. The event we think was the Oldorado Parade in Taft, CA (late 70s) where Bill and Martha were school teachers. The girls are foreign exchange students who were participants in the AFS intercultural program.Jay Broemmel wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 5:11 pm Going through some old photos while sheltered. During restoration we discovered a non-factory deformity in the forward top bow that caused a few days of head scratching before I remembered this photo. We were able to straightened the bow with a little heat and a couple pairs of channel lock pliers.

My driver. I spend every second I can behind the wheel of it. Few things bring a bigger smile.

The green Cabriolet belongs to George Dunn who drove it from Florida to Oregon for this event. I wimped out and flew my airplane from the Bay Area but, atleast, was able to discover that these 2 fantastic airplanes were parked on the tarmac. 2 of my all time favorite aircraft. Ford Tri-motor and the most beautiful/Awsome airplane ever made, a North American P-51D.

On a C the front bow is a piece of wood. I always stuff as many folded up towels as I can under the tonneau to distribute the weight and for the comfort of the royalty you are transporting. JSpencer Harris wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2020 2:08 pm
