interior lights for gauges
My interior gauges are not lighting up although my headlights and rear lights are all working without issue. I was going to check the fuses but was not sure which fuse corresponds with the interior gauge lights. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

The power to the instrument lights comes from #58b on the headlight switch. Power to the switch comes from fuse #4.

Re: interior lights for gauges
I changed the fuse and that did not solve my issue but I did notice a light bulb and wire that must have fell out of the gauge area. I wanted to replace the bulb to see if that solved the issue but when I ordered a set of bulbs from Stoddards they were too big. Any other good source for the bulbs (6V)? I attached a pic.

Before I switched to LED's, I used the 6V, 1.2 W bulbs for all the instrument lights. The bulb you show looks correct but Klasse 356 also carries these bulbs.

Rod,
The Stoddard NLA bulb kit is this http://www.nlaparts.com/store/spare-bul ... 16737.html Those kits are a concours show piece and does not have instrument bulbs.
However, in the Bulb Shop category you will find almost every conceivable bulb for a 356 click here: http://www.nlaparts.com/store/bulb-shop-c-891.html

Love my incandescent shaded LED bulbs. they are very bright but they have the stock look.

Re: interior lights for gauges
Anyone have a link to Jules' site, or did I miss it in the discussion?
I'm using the standard .6v and 1.6v bulbs for my instrument lights in my '60 coupe and they are pretty dim. The rheostat on the headlight switch allows for only "all on" or "all off" for the instruments. Not sure if that is the problem or if it can be repaired. Anyway, maybe Jules has LEDs just for the instruments, speedo, and tach When the switch is "all on".
I need a contact address please, and that of someone who can fiddle with those teeny weeny rheostat wires. Might as well start planning my winter down time.
Thanks.
