Gold "S" emblem

#1 Post by Richard Holler »

Hello, I got the buffer too close to the S emblem and some of the gold rubbed off. Anybody have any good touch up paint/marker to restore it? not looking for concours quality...

I've actually found some gold spray paint. You might try that.

Option: a new one from one of our vendors: Klasse 356, Stoddard, etc. less than $40.

Richard,

If you are thinking about replacing it, be aware that originals have an encircled R stamped on the back. Later ones from Porsche and other sources do not.
