Easy 1956 - 1965 coupe/cabriolet color question

#1 Post by Brett Johnson »

For authentic unrestored cars, please. Don't need photos. Don't need chassis number, though year and model would be good. Condition of car is unimportant.

What color is:

A) Your car?
B) The defroster vent area visible through the windshield (on cabriolets, this should match the inside of the windshield frame)?
C) The upholstery on the dash pad?

Brett, just to add one thing, You might also want to ask the color of the dash pad. On light interiors, Acella bast, Grey, etc. on the earlier cars the dash top and door tops would be changed to a vinyl or leather which was a close approximation of the color of the car. This practice seems to have stopped with the t-6? B cars

Authenticity IV is at the printer now. I expect proofs tomorrow. Actual books are supposed to be here before December 1. When I have additional information on delivery date, it should be available at: www.tpr-inc.com
