Hitchhiker

#1 Post by Adam Wright »

So I bought a 911 a few weeks ago from a friend of mine but the gearbox in my truck went boom on my last trip, so I couldn't go pick it up. He offered to deliver it. When he arrived today he said he took care of the hitchhiker, what???
He showed me the snakeskin in the engine bay, but then showed me pics of the snake after it crawled out of the car once he shook it. No I didn't need imported snakes from VA with my 911. Nope, nope, nopity, nope.

The other piece of good news is the truck was still under warranty so Chevy will be paying for the gearbox.

That's way cool! Most barn finds have chicken and mouse crap but this is special! My guess is the snake took care of any mice invasion.

This car wasn't done having fun with us. We found another snake, very much alive, it slithered somewhere in the car, we don't know where. Tunnel maybe.

Good call Mike, my research indicates it was most likely a non-venomous black rat snake and it does feed on rodents. Pretty cool shed skin with the eyes showing.

I bet you have had your share of run ins with all kinds of critters. I for one am not a big fan of snakes. Reminds me of a friend who picked up an old Impala. He discovered the heater ducts were full of snakes after getting it running and driving it home. He was grabbing them and throwing them out the window while driving to the horror of passer byes.
