Oil Lines Hoses Material

#1 Post by Dennis Vogel »

What is the correct material and design of oil lines / hoses for 1960 356B T5? I've looked at ours, and don't trust they're original to use as reference. In searching the part numbers (616.07.818 inlet, outlet), I've seen: Thank you.

Is it really copper metal or just copper-colored?

I've heard that the strand color was specific to what was carried in the line...fuel, oil, etc. Joris?
