Beehive tailiights
When did Porsche replace the 356 beehive taillights with the teardrop version (serial #/date)?

PET says the first teardrop coupe was 100001 and the first cabriolet was 61701 (and also says the first Speedster was 83201).
The Registry article Spotter's Guide to the 356 Models says the teardrop tail lights arrived in March 1957.
I'm something of a data junkie and I happened to download a scan of the Kardex for 83208 showing it built on 6 May 1957:
This Certificate of Authenticity shows 83248 born on 15 April 1957:

Re: Beehive tailiights
83201 lived in my shop back in the 90s.....for several years. Ran the Colorado Grand a couple times. It`s on the left next to my old 57 GT.
