... I'm still trying to figure out what a contentious weld is....... only a spell-checker would know, I guess.
Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.....

Hi Harlan,
Yes, I can attest to the good reliability of use of a 6v starter with a 12v solenoid in a 12v system. I now have 40,000 miles of quick, non-binding ringgear/pinion interfacing.
