In 1978 and 1979 I lived in Denver and bought two Sunbeam Tigers. Still have the Tigers, I restored one (photo below) and the other remains on the "to do" list. But... best part of this story is that in 1979 I also met a gal named Carol at Frontier Airlines where we both worked. She owned two Porsches: a 1973 911E (original owner) and a 1965 356C (owned since 1975). How perfect was that? We were married the next year (I'm no fool). My 1965 Morgan +4 roadster.
I sold it to an enthusiast in Switzerland in 2012 and bought a beautiful 1964 356 C Coupe in its place.

These are the only photos I have of these two from my misguided youth--

1963 Ghia that I lowered, recessed the headlights, made a custom whale tail...and lots more (can you tell what I really wanted was a Porsche?)

And 1973 Opel GT that I never finished ruining...I mean customizing...

Neither of these exist anymore but I guess that's a good thing, although I wish I finished the Opel--I've always wondered what it would have ended up looking like.
